"I went on my first trip when I was 12. I went to Chiapas"
A student in her fifth year of Architecture. Besides her interest in architecture, she has a passion for getting to know other countries and helping on the spot; she has participated as a volunteer in many projects. She’s looking forward to finishing her degree and putting what she has learnt into practice to help at home and abroad.

"When I saw on the news what had happened in Haiti, I knew at once that I wanted to be there"
Last year, she finished her Social Work studies at the UPV/EHU-University of the Basque Country, and since January she has been at Haiti at an orphanage in the town of Legoane at the epicentre of the earthquake. After the earthquake had struck, she did not think twice about boarding a plane without a return ticket.

"Once the crisis is over, I don’t believe our way of life will change that much"
At the UPV/EHU-University of the Basque Country where he studied economics he now lectures in the subject. He has always been involved in teaching even while he was a student.

“We have patented some compounds made at the University”
Every day Aizpea heads for the Korta building on the Ibaeta Campus of the UPV/EHU-University of the Basque Country. Although she lives in a university atmosphere, she finished studying long ago. She works as a researcher and businessperson at the IkerChem company set up at the university. She works on looking for drugs, in the pharmacology industry; but she doesn’t take any drugs herself.

This young guy from Bilbao is one of the top fashion designers. He has succeeded in surprising and being appealing by creating, without patterns, comfortable, spectacular punk clothes on mannequins as if they were sculptures. We have been conquered by both of them: the Sinpatron [=without a pattern] brand and Alberto himself.
