After studying production machining, he did work experience in the Finnish town of Hyvinkää. That experience prompted him to study more, so he is studying for a degree in Industrial Engineering at the Eibar campus of the UPV/EHU-University of the Basque Country, specializing in mechanics, in fact.

“I miss having real friends, a best friend, apart from the people you hang around with when you go out.”
Despite having done teacher training she practices journalism. Originally from London, she lives in the main street of Zarautz. And although she thinks about the custom of spending hours chatting in a pub, she enjoys the outdoor celebrations here. Above all the ones in Bilbao.

"I’ve always thought that if someone were to turn up and ask: “Are you coming?” I would drop everything and say, “You bet!"
After completing her Pedagogy studies she spent a year in London. Then she felt the urge to study anthropology and went off to Barcelona. When she finished what she was doing there she returned to Zarautz and started working in Zumarraga and then in Donostia-San Sebastian. While she was living quietly at home she decided all of a sudden to go to China to teach Spanish.

"I’m learning German, so that I can live in Düsseldorf and learn music"
It would be surprising if this girl didn’t become a top guitarist. But the path she has taken requires an awful lot of effort. She lives in Eibar and Düsseldorf, because that is where she has her guitar lessons. Although she plays classical guitar, she turns up at the music school dressed in a Mago de Oz band T-shirt and black varnished fingernails. When she realises, she feels embarrassed, “I’ve never had them varnished before”.
